Silver Sage Manor, Inc. (SSMI), is a Nevada-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to the development of affordable housing for low-income seniors. The all-volunteer Board of Trustees of SSMI has a mission to serve the needs of seniors by developing high-quality affordable housing. Formed in 1991, SSMI has participated in the development of more than 890 low-income housing units throughout the state of Nevada.
Since inception SSMI’s goal has been to act as the sole developer of high-quality affordable senior housing projects. After partnering with experienced developers on a number of projects, SSMI met this goal with the 2007 completion of the 41-unit Silver Sage Senior Residence located in Reno, NV. In 2011 SSMI developed its second independent project with the opening of the 58-unit Neil Road Senior Apartments. In late 2013 SSMI revitalized a fire-damaged building that had been a neighborhood nuisance for ten years and transformed into the beautiful 8-unit Moran Street Senior Apartments. SSMI completed construction of the 45-unit Lincoln Way Senior Apartments in Sparks, NV in early 2016. Most recently SSMI added the 40 Unit Orovada Street Senior Apartments to its communities and is planning to bring an additional 34 units to the property with a Phase II expansion in 2026. In addition to the quality finishes and unique features of the buildings, Silver Sage has committed additional resources to provide services to assure a high standard of living for the residents of the communities it develops.
Silver Sage Manor, Inc. will continue to strive to meet its goal of providing high-quality, affordable senior housing as it moves forward with the development of future projects.
